I need to apologize to Rob Wolf and Lou Schuler, two friends whose novels I have started but havent yet finished, even though both books (The Khronos Chronicles and Saints Alive) started out TERRIFICALLY. The blame lies entirely with me and my serious distractedness/overscheduling, and I am sorry. This is a somewhat quiet week (relatively speaking) so I plan to get back to both books. But just know, gentleman, you are in great company. In the past 6 months I have also not-finished books by novelist Barbara Kingsolver, novelist Edward St. Aubyn, historian Tony Judt, and philosopher Charles Taylor. Unbroken reading time is the ONLY reason I miss my early 20s and graduate school. I did, however, manage to finish The Personal MBA over the weekend. You can all start hurling insults at any time.
