I need to completely switch writing gears. I just finished editing a Lucy Kincaid book, and now need to write a Maxine Revere book. They are different people who handle situations differently. Lucy has gained confidence over 8 books, but Max is extremely self-confident and independent from the start, more so than Lucy. Max is also more self-aware--Lucy wouldnt care much about what shes wearing or how she looks, but Max is always put together and aware that shes attractive. Lucy would never flirt or overtly manipulate to gain information, but Max definitely will. Lucy bites her tongue a lot--she doesnt want to cause waves with a verbal attack, but shell definitely cause waves by her actions. Max pushes and call people out for what they say and do, exposing the truth no matter what. Lucy is more physical than Max; Max is more capable of talking her way in and out of situations, but will be physical if necessary. Lucy has a gun or three and knows how to use them; Max doesnt, but she has a Taser. Lucy has one true love; Max has two love interests. This is going to be fun.
