I need to say a big thank you to my mom, Rebekah Graves Morin for being my wedding planning buddy and coach. I am so lucky to have someone in my life who is positive, supportive, and excited for me even though this type of event presents stresses and financial burdens not only for myself, but also for my family. But more than that, she is making sure I get excited (and I havent made it easy for her) and stay positive. While I am thrilled to begin my life with Mike Mathews, I am overwhelmed, and everything I look at (venues, caterers, cakes, dresses, invitations, decorations) just begin to look like $$ I cant afford right now. But Mom cheerfully started to show me ideas, drag me to a bridal show…get me thinking and talking and even begin to get excited about planning. Shes gone above and beyond to make this a happy time for me…and I love her for it. Also, honorable mention goes to Connie Perry-Blankenship who regularly checks in to see how Im doing, shares pictures and ideas, and encourages me to dream big. Im a lucky girl to have such wonderful people in my life.
