I need to water and pull weeds tonight but my hand just wont reach into the flower beds. Saw a small reddish brown and white snake this morning. It wasnt very large but I cant seem to find a picture of one on the internet that looked the same. It was on my driveway and curled in defense when it saw me. (It is supposed to be dog days and they are supposed to be blind - oh yeah - believe this?!?!?!) Then it slid into my flower garden. Go away little snake. I have lived here over 37 years and had never seen a snake in my yard but one other time and now I have had them near my porch 2 years in a row. GO AWAY SNAKES! Take you body and slide to another area.
