I never do lengthy posts, HOWEVER, I feel the need to express myself. Yesterday a tragedy occurred in the Ellet area. Yesterday our sense of community was ripped apart and put back together. I am a member of this community and a blue family, I too hurt for everyone involved... I feel the need to remind EVERYONE that as it has been established that there is a little girl out there without a daddy today (I am not down playing that AT ALL), there is also a child/children in this same community who has also lost a father...due to poor decisions and life choices. Ellet is a very close community, I pray to God that during this time of healing that we as a community reach out to this child/children whom I am told is a really good kid. None of us choose our parents, the choices that they make or how we are brought up. Many people have been exposed to horrible circumstances in which they overcome. I pray we let the child/children know that they are still cared about and loved and that the choices of others do not reflect on them. Please use this as an opportunity to teach compassion and love... if it were your child, what would you hope for? These are formative years, and the toughest ones, with a lot of peer pressure. Please guide this child/children to know a better way of life.
