I never got to meet you but your son told me you were quite a singer, songwriter, mean on the grill and your favorite dessert was banana pudding. He makes a mean banana pudding and he still feels sad that you both didnt get a chance to resolve some things before you passed. He told me that it will be twenty years November 11th since you have been gone but trust me you are not forgotten. You are veteran just as he and I are. You have four sons, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. I know you are smiling down upon them and your oldest always think about you on this time as we go and get a free meal for being a vet. Even as a grown man there are times when even he needs to have his father around just to talk to and seek advice from. All four sons love you and I know miss you and they all wish that their children could have met you. The first two were too young to remember you. The first picture was when you were like 13. The second was when you got into the army too young and they discharged you. and the third picture was when you enlisted at the right age. From your sons R, R, R, C Yeary and daughter in law keep smiling upon them.
