I never had a chance to get on Facebook yesterday and really had no news to report, but today we went to the cardiologist and had an echocardiogram. Very happy to say Laceys heart is absolutely perfect! Her thyroid labs were fine, so they have ruled that out as a cause for her tachycardia. Now what? The doctor seems to have taken us under his wing and is determined to find the cause. He sent us home with a holster so he can find out how she is doing during the night while sleeping. He has also examined her medications and there is one that she has taken for years to help control her asthma that can cause a rapid heartbeat. He wants to try leaving that off and see what happens. Her asthma is so well controlled that I am fine with that. We return the holster tomorrow afternoon and we are him again late Tuesday afternoon before taking her to Chattanooga on Wednesday morning. (And she hasnt packed clothes yet and we still have a little shopping to do! Whew!) Oh, I did fail to mention we are still waiting for the results of the MRI and I hope we get those tomorrow. I am really hoping that it comes down to a simple medication change! We so appreciate all the messages, texts, calls, and especially, the prayers! Thank you!!!! Will update again when we know more. 😘
