I never knew how to define success in the music business until tonight... I hired a younger gentlemen to play keys for me about a year and half ago who fell in love with one of my songs in particular. Tonight I went to hear him perform, he asked if I had my guitar, and we ended up performing one of my originals together. He introduced my song and as he did, he informed the crowd that as hes been trucking around the country all summer performing one of my originals, as its a song he personally embraces. Needless to say I thought about my favorite singer/songwriters and how I play a song or two of theirs because of how they have had a profound impact on my life. Wow I am mind blown and completely speechless at the moment. I feel as if my career has come full circle.
