I never lie and I cannot abide a liar! However, my children have informed that in my later years I have developed the tendency to, embellish the truth! :) I am not aware of this phenomenon and it kind of hurts my feelings, somewhat like the new preacher who in his first sermon to his new flock got too much into the sermon and just really laid them in the aisle! After the fiery sermon a member of the search committee approached the still red faced and panting young minister and said quietly; Brother Smith, that was indeed a wonderful message but I want to remind you that Daniel slew the lions, he did not beat the hell out of them! :) G.B.
