I never really knew too much about Mama Tina (Tina Knowles), other than that she was Queen Beys momma, and was a hair stylist that had her own salon before Destinys Child started. It was actually very cool to hear her tell her story... coming up from being raised by parents with only an 8th grade education, her struggles in marriage and overcoming the end of it. You think that the mother of Beyonce, a beautiful 60 year old woman wouldnt have a care in the world, but she talks about losing her self esteem and reclaiming herself in her speech. I thoroughly enjoyed this. We all go through things no matter who we are and what we have. She said its called going through something because you get THROUGH it... I loved that.
