I never understood why as an adventist I use to tell people to read egw literature over Gods word among other ridiculous things. Thank Jesus I was able to decrease in myself and He filled my mind with His truth and the scales came flying off my eyes. Jesus IS God, not an angel, Jesus IS all we need, His word is enough, His grace is sufficient, He heals us by His word not by egw books. So many of my sda friends became gnostics and athiests because of adventism, i almost walked away from Christ completely too. All because they hang the law around your neck, and knowing i couldnt keep them i rebelled and made my way to break all of them. God saved me from my destructive ways and introduced me to His son Jesus Christ whom i had thought i already knew. I knew of Him, but never KNEW Him. Now I know Him and am also known by Him x) and it was all by reading ONLY Gods word. And almost immediately i began to understand grace for the first time and also began to be told by other sda that i was reading out of context.... Without adventism, the word is completely clear.
