I never understood why those who believe in nothing are so consumed with what an overwhelming majority of Americans accept and celebrate: i.e., God and Christmas. Apparently tolerance is a revolutionary concept! If you have to demean others to actively recruit people in order to validate your nihilistic views, then you obviously harbor some doubt and concern over your own convictions. I love how atheists will openly denounce God for being a supreme consciousness, eternal energy, only to turn around and say that its scientifically rationale for the incredible amount of energy and mass needed to produce the Big Bang to somehow exist without end. Yes, thats what you call a clear contradiction and double standard. If the Big Bang is valid, and it very well may be, Im putting my money that it was but a mechanism of creation triggered by the discerning hand of intelligent design. Wherever there is structure, which is irrefutably evident on Earth and beyond our solar system, there is almost always purpose. Evolution alone cannot account for the sheer complexity and diversity of life. Otherwise, the Big Bang would simply be accepted as a secular conundrum in which atheists somehow magically appear to stop Santa Claus from reciting the Lords Prayer on Christmas Eve. Oh the irony! To each their own and to all a goodnight! To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree. ~ Charles Darwin
