I no longer know whether to cheer and clap or be very afraid. I - TopicsExpress

I no longer know whether to cheer and clap or be very afraid. I think of it from positive and not from a jealous mind (and my thinking Im funny, but Im not, silly might be the nicest word), but proud, very proud, but so embarrassed and humiliated by what we are leaving our kids, my son. When we try to put in place a better way, it is shot down by these people who dont know how grateful they should be for what we had and have now squandered with thinking like God left us this planet to take full advantage of its resources and damn the consequences because hell just build us a new one. HE wants us to exhaust the resources-You Betcha Palin. Doesnt this amount of talent just make beam with excitement knowing our future, our planet is ripe with new imagination and direction. I dont believe for a second, the doomsday scenarios portrayed out there saying we and our kids are headed for disaster. When I hear these kids, who were told from a young age, your life and your generation is fraught with disappointment, disaster, and despair, I know when they hear that, they hear ignorance and someone elses failed life, and instead of giving them something to build on, they have to climb on the shoulders of babies to make themselves appear taller. Thank you for sharing this. Didnt mean to make this into a political rant, just feeling blessed by babies. Man, the meds they have me on really kick my a**.
