I normally dont get excited about anything less than an A, but - TopicsExpress

I normally dont get excited about anything less than an A, but this semester has been very wearing and I will gladly accept my 3.00. At the beginning of the summer I signed up for 12 hours, not to mention I would be internning 15 hours each week along with working my regular job in the Engineering Department at Valdosta State. When people would hear that I was doing this, there response was, girl are you sure you want to do that or how can you do all that. At first everything seemed okay, but then when the tests and homework started coming my way and demands of trying to be a good intern along with trying to be an equal team member at work, things got tough. I started loosing sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. I became discourage and really had to self-evaluate what I had really got myself into. Ill never forget and am forever grateful for the little motivational speech my daddy gave me when things got cloudy. He told me how much he believed in me and how he KNEW I could pull this semester out. I cant tell you now, how much that really meant to me. It really helped a lot; especially the phone calls every day from my sweet mama. I know I didnt make a 4.00 this semster, but I definitly couldnt have even pulled a 3.00 if it werent for them and other awesome/encouraging people in my life. Now I can officially enjoy the rest of my summer! :)
