I normally dont take to Facebook to rant about anything and I generally keep my opinions and comments to myself because confrontation is something I try to avoid on here, but I cant help but be amazed at how so many people are mourning over the death and paying tribute to the late Robin Williams, while so many of you probably dont even pay attention to what is going on half way across the world in Iraq right now. Dont get me wrong, I am deeply sadden over the news of Robin Williams death. I admired him as an actor and enjoyed his films while growing up and I pray for his family during this difficult time and yes depression is a serious health problem, but lets get real about something, depression is a common thing for a lot of people. Myself personally and many people in my family have dealt with depression for a lot reasons, the biggest was dealing with the adjustment of losing my mother when I was 13 years old and I went down a path of destruction and I abandoned my faith, but regardless the amount of pain we as humans face, ending your life is not the answer and it breaks my heart to know that so many people chose that path and all I can do is pray for their souls. The problem isnt about bringing mental health issues to light, those problems are recognized, which is why their our people who offer treatment for it. The real problem is people forgot how to get down on their knees and pray. Whether you believe in God or not, their is a God. And if you would open your hearts to him, you could face any tribulation in life and overcome all obstacles. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 And you can!!! So yes, pray for those who lose the battle, but also continue to pray that more people do open their hearts to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You may have forgotten about him, but he has not forgotten about YOU! Thank you and God Bless you all!!!
