I normally post tax tips and my peeves of the week. However, today I want to give two big shout outs! !. I want to give a big shout out to American Express in the way they run their new airline Centurion lounges, which are available to their platinum card holders.. Unlike what is found in most airline domestic clubs, the Centurion lounges are very bright and airy. They have super fast internet, free message (yes, you read this correctly) and has fabulous food. For example, breakfast has french toast, all kids of fresh fruits, cereal, quiche, breakfast pastries etc. Lunch has salads, smoked brisket, pecan encrusted chicken and a blueberry dessert. Everyone also took smile pills and seems very happy. I LOVED this lounge. Amex probably started this since many airlines clubs ( cough .... United and American. caugh) stopped taking Amex passengers. Thus, Amex decided to compete with them. If they ever expand into many other airports, they will give the airline lounges a run for their money. I never understood why domestic airline lounges didnt serve the same things as their international cousins. Hopefully with American Expresss Centurion lounge, everyone will raise their standards. 2. My second shout out is to the National Association of Network Marketing Professionals board of directors and Garret McGrath and the officers of the association and Chris and Josephine Gross of Networking Times, who put on a spectacular program for distributors. They not only had great speakers, but had unbelievable food, most of which were served buffet style. All this was only for $100 entrance fee, which may be the biggest steal around. If you are a networking distributor , you MUST attend next years event. Again, congrats to everyone who I have given a shout out to. In an era of declining customer service, it is nice to see companies and people go far and beyond my expectations.
