I once again find myself personally attacked over adoption fees from rescues so I want to break something down. I mean this only as informational. Sampson was one of 13 dogs surrendered from a less than desirable situation. The first photo is how he was received into the rescue. Now let me say to the GENERAL public would you have adopted the dog in the first photo having seen him in the shelter as he is? Would you expect that if you were able to see past the feces and urine smell and the matted fur that you could take this dog home with no extra incurred expense? If so please never own dogs. Grooming Vaccinations Examinations Microchip Hw test Full dental Socialization Boarding Food Gasoline and wear and tear on vehicles to get him to and from These things arent free. They are monies spent by volunteers, the rescue organization and your friends. I do NOT MONITARILY benefit from any of these dogs. I understand that you can find free great dogs and i am quite possibly ONE OF THE BIGGEST cheerleaders for the local Humane society. FYI this dog came from there. So if you arent interested in paying a large adoption fee then there are plenty out there. Please dont send me mean messages about how Im ripping people off and hurting the humane society. It hurts me to my core that someone would say that. I think the staff out there knows that have a dogs best interest at heart. With all the being said.... Sampson still needs a home where someone can appreciate his value.
