I once dined with the marine inventor Jacques Rougerie at a posh restaurant in Paris with my dolphin book translator #Hugo Verlomme and I visited Jacques studio on a barge moored to the banks of the Seine where a team were designing undersea structures, motels etc. He designed the new airport in Noumea and a major new ocean themed building in Tahiti. His barge had a diving room at stern, big fish in it ex Amazon River, and an acrylic underwater meditation tent. He kindly gave me an amazing book of his designs (co-authored with Hugo) , including a trimaran with centre hull in acrylic like Kellys aquarium tunnel. It sailed to the Caribbean fr dolphin encounters. I love his undersea dwellings and ocean exploration subs.
