I once was blind but now I see. I grew up in the outward - TopicsExpress

I once was blind but now I see. I grew up in the outward appearance ways. I even used to wonder if it was ok to put Pajamas on my baby girls yuk, although I did it. This thing can go too far, in either direction. In other words, we are suppose to wear clothes! Modest apparel is all that is required, and many womens pants are more modest, or just as modest as a lot of dresses. I wear both, Lol not at the same time, just whatever the occasion warrants. Well, I will have you know they have threw me out of some synagogues, because I repented for those years of thinking like a Pharisee. When I feel one of those demonic accusing spirits, I go trim my dead ends, spiritually and naturally also! One day I got it, God dont get no glory because our hair is dying on the ends, known as dead ends! God is so much bigger than some preachers will ever take Him. I have done some suffering, and it brought me to a place of seeing that one of the worse things one can do is, judge by outward appearance. I see a lot of people on FB that sat under my preaching when I was young, and I am thankful for every soul that gave their heart to Jesus out there. I still believe in holiness, I just believe it starts in our hearts and minds, and then takes over our very nature and in all ways we will seek to please God. We will not seek to please people that study to find fault in each other, and see who can look more dressed to please whatever religious network they affiliate with. If some in this modern church age could behold the apostles attire, they would faint! Men did not wear three piece suits in the early church. I really love Jesus, and I feel compassion, but also feel upset, for those that are wearing their long robes, thinking it is the Jesus way. Also, there are some who wont witness to real sinners they are too busy trying to be righteous by their own merits. To reach the lost, sometimes we have to feel what they feel, the desolation, the hurt, the pain, the loneliness. Lord help us all to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints!!
