I originally joined this page because I knew deep inside me that me as a young black male (21) wasnt as proud of my skin colour as I ought to be. I didnt want to aim to push this pride in peoples faces but I wanted to self educate and be able to reference, source and quote my history. These last few weeks have done just that, I feel prouder and more confident being a young black man in the UK. To my disappointment and dismay I have noticed that a lot of people on this forum portray and it would appear, from reading posts, that they harbour the same elitist, supremacist and superior points of view (not necessarily the theories and information) but the same side as the people they claim to have oppressed them, I dont understand it. 2 wrongs dont make a right if you dont like being called a nigga nigger or negro why are you calling people cracka honky or creepy ass cracka?? It doesnt add up at all.
