I painted yesterday in the studio ... from a still life set up and in oil... 16x12 on stretched canvas. After talking to a friend, Denise Champion, I knew I needed to step away from my landscapes for a break! After painting for a couple of hours, and as the light went darker in the studio, I knew I needed to stop working on it. Here is where I left it... with much more to do, and also a shot of the set-up this morning. So, the lighting of the set-up is not what I had yesterday in the afternoon coming from a window on my right side. I will wait a little longer to see if it will... and if not, then I will just paint without looking at the set-up and do what I think. I know there are a few issues that need correcting... like my painting leaning on the wall behind it and it stops just behind mid-way of the vase... kind of bothers me. So, we shall see what I do to correct that!
