I personally believe that the whole point of the movie is to reveal the hidden good part in evil, but isnt that a confusing twist for the mind, especially for, as they say, a childs mind, who might start thinking that perhaps Satan is the good guy, too? Isnt that the point of classic fairy tales? To teach children how to discern between good and evil? According to the Cathar belief, Evil was also a significant part in Genesis, and God could not exist without Satan. The N.W.O might be promoting that kind of belief and the importance of evil which has to be accepted and embraced in a way that could grant us a place to live in the new era. Yes, no matter how stupid and religious fanatic this might sound, I think that, for the sake of `new mind blowing ideas`, `modern vision` and `interesting concepts` we are letting our subconscious dragged into a dangerous giddiness. To atheists and agnostics this means nothing (Angelina Jolie is an atheist btw). But to those who hold on their beliefs, struggling to find a meaning of life and reinforce their spirituality level, these `stories`, in spite of their modern approach and harmlessness, are nothing more than a pebble thrown o water surface, its waves sending small signals which grow bigger and bigger as they reach the edges. I, myself, enjoyed Maleficent and I was thrilled by the unexpected twist in the end. I love modern ideas. I love new concepts. Fairy tales are all cliches, with good conquering evil and all, but I grew up with that. I grew up with the idea of evil dying at the end of the story. Its not manipulation. It has always been the way of the world. People have always struggled to fight evil (in stories, in battles, in movies). This reflects our own inner struggle to fight the bad side of ourselves. In the Baháí Faith, Satan is not regarded as an independent evil power as he is in some faiths, but signifies the lower nature of humans. `Abdul-Bahá explains: This lower nature in man is symbolized as Satan — the evil ego within us, not an evil personality outside. All other evil spirits described in various faith traditions—such as fallen angels, demons, and jinns—are also metaphors for the base character traits a human being may acquire and manifest when he turns away from God. If they already stopped killing the bad guy in movies/books/fairy tales etc, the next generations will also stop fighting the evil in themselves and what next?
