July 2000, I started my Pampered chef business with a belief that God would bless the work of my hands. Here I am, 14 years later, still believing as well as knowing He will. There are days where I struggle to balance all of the things in my life, but I find this profession a blessing for myself, my family, and hopefully those I meet and have met. It is hard for people to believe at times that you can make a real living in direct sales, but you really, really can. I also am amazed at times when I trace back my beginnings with Pampered Chef. There are people who have become life long friends and continue to be in my life because of Pampered Chef among other things. What caused me to reflect on this is this funny coincidence or should I say Godincidence On the 4th of September I am holding a fundraiser for a beloved church family, Heights Christian. Barbara Scales is hosting it. Among the guest is one Mary Ausloos. Barb is my very first host, ever and the day I was off to my second show, I received my first commission check from PC. This check put me in the black (yes after just one show) and I was over the moon as I held a show with Mary. My first and second host when I started this journey will be in the same place at the same time, doing something with me that I love. Teaching, sharing, laughing and learning to love. There will be others who have hosted with me Lindsey Day, Annette Arndt, Sherry Nagel and I am so thankful for all of you. I have to say though having number 1 and 2 host there too is absolutely amazing to me! God is so, so very good!
