I picked the number 15 because Amber Hines Wittmer said I could. Here are things you might not know about me. 1. I was born about 2 months premature. 2. I was named after Jamie Lee Sommers because she played the Bionic Woman and my mom thought they way we were both hooked up to wires was similar. 3. My Dad once burned me with a seatbelt and thought it was funny. Were talking welt. 4. I have a thing about balance. I once lived in a trailer and it drove me crazy the windows werent centered in the wall seams. I had to move. Then again it was a trailer. I moved. 5. During my wedding vows, all I could think about were the ferns coming out of the groomsmens boutineers I didnt want. Made myself start listening. Turns out it was someone else that should have been paying attention (Ouch - I know - but are we at the place where we can laugh yet?) 6. I once had a boss that told me I couldnt go to a funeral of a great uncle because we werent even closely related. 7. I was once denied a job as a DJ at a strip bar because I was a woman. I still think I should have sued. 8. I have taught the chicken dance to over 10,000 people. 9. My grandpa died thinking the motor mounts on my Ford Tempo were broken when it was sold to me. It may have had something to do with Whicher St. 10. Im really great at playing with bubbles in fountains. 11. I miss my besties. every. single. day. 12. My first buzz was senior skip day. My parents were afraid I would drink and wouldnt let me stay over, so I drove. Genius folks. 13. My first real drunk was warm red dog with Rheannon Lorber Ehlers. 14. I only kept typing because Ive been on hold but now Im not. 15. My sister and I hold the Guinness World record for most shopping bags hand-carried between Michigan Ave. and Muscatine via Amtrak. True story. 16. You probably see my posts on Facebook more than you think. I run a dozen pages for businesses and organizations.
