I picked up a copy of Man of Steel today since I didnt get to see it in the theater. Superman (Christopher Reeve) was the very first movie I ever saw in a theater and I was about 5 years old when my dad took me to see it in this dinky old theater on W. Bryn Mawr Ave in Chicago. It made quite an impression on me as a little boy delving in me the principals of honor, justice and defense of the weak against the oppression of the wicked. Superman Returns was a good makeover but I have high hopes for Man of Steel. (I just hope the new Lois Lane doesnt smoke and have the raspy smokers voice...ack!)
