I played in a $85 poker tournament at Caesars Palace in Vegas this - TopicsExpress

I played in a $85 poker tournament at Caesars Palace in Vegas this weekend. There was this one player who, on the 1st hand, got pocket aces. He proceeded to triple the big blind pre-flop. He had 3 callers. After the flop, he made a continuation bet the size of the pot and everyone folded. He then turned over his pocket aces and proceeded to yell at everyone at the table with the words "Are aces good, are aces good?!" over and over again. Now this was just the beginning. He talked non stop the entire tournament and was warned several times by the dealer to stop talking about his hand during play. He eventually won the tournament. He was a good player but he was also catching cards and was dealt high pocket pairs on several occasions. So this got me thinking - has anyone else experienced playing with these types of players and what did you do to combat that type of table behavior?
