I positively admit that the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway have done such a fantastic job with what theyve achieved throughout the years of wonderful restoration of the railway, Especially with the restoration of the two nearby stations one being the main one at Ludborough and the second one being at North Thoresby, It was reopened back in August 2009 after closing more than 30 years ago by British Rail. In the mid 80s British Railways left Ludborough in such a poor state when they demolished all the buildings, ripped up the track and demolished the platforms. Fortunately The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and their excellent volunteers have beautifully and wonderfully refurbished the station at Ludborough and have restored it back to its original form, furthermore bringing the station back to life restoring it to its former glory.
