I posted a comment on a video about pre-contact native American civilizations and nations in response to someone who compared the struggle of the American Indians to that of Israelis, to which I responded that Associating these slaughtered nations with the Apartheid state of Israel is an insult to those nations who died defending themselves from white colonizers. Israelis slaughter Palestinians just as the Americans slaughtered the native peoples. - To which some dumbass named Richard to whom I will affectionately refer as Dick responded yea good comment but you guys havent been saints either. - Knowing this statement to be questionable and racist, I responded with You are either ignorant or a racist if you think desperate actions by an oppressed group can equal or outweigh the actions of a harsh oppressor. - To which he responded First of all you dont have a right to insult me personally about being a racist and Im sure my intelligence is far beyond yours. And how can either Palestinians or Israelites talk about anyone being ignorant when you have been at war with each other for 1000s of years. You would think by now you would learn how to get along by now. - If you have any background of knowledge whatsoever in the conflicts in the Middle East, youd know that the rhetoric that this war has gone on for thousands of years is a rhetoric made by Bible-toting know-nothings to justify saying both sides are at fault without any historical context or accountability for their statements and is most importantly a lie. Knowing that I responded with the following statement. - Lol ok now I KNOW youre ignorant and that your intelligence definitely does not surpass mine.The fighting has only been going since the 1940s when Zionist settlement from Europe began in Palestine and the establishment of the State of Israel which lead to the Seven Days War in which Syria, Egypt, and Jordan went to war with Israel to free Palestine from Israeli hegemony. The fighting has gone on since then. Before then there was the State of Palestine under the British Mandate in which Mizrahi Jews and Palestinian Christians and Muslims lived in peace, as well as before that under the Ottomans, Mamluks, Ayyubids, (Not so much the crusader states), the Fatimids, Seljuks, the Abbasids, the Umayyads and even back to the first Muslims under the Rashidun Caliphate, although the time when Arabization is unclear, either beginning with the Rashidun, the Ghassanid Christians, or even the Nabateans. Either way, genealogically, the Palestinians, Christian, Muslim, or Mizrahi, are all Canaanites, partially or entirely from the natives to the region, the Canaanites. Before the Muslims, they lived under Roman rule, during which, after a failed rebellion, the Romans sent the most of the Jews of Palestine into diaspora around 70 CE. The current situation of Israeli-Palestinian conflict has only been going on for around 70 years, not 1000 as many ignorami would have you believe. Please educate yourself about history and context before making broad and incorrect statements about people. places, and events about which you clearly know nothing.
