What a scary morning! I had to call the police about a missing child. No, it wasnt one of mine. I had to make a run to the store early this morning and when I drove home a toddler was walking down the alley across from our house. As I parked he walked right in the street and right to me. He was wearing pants, no shoes, no shirt, and dragging around a blankie. After trying the rental house on the corner where new people moved in and rousing no one I called the police and settled down on the front step with this trusting little boy to color. All that time Im trying not to cry because I know how frantic I would be to wake up and find one of my little ones missing. They were able to find the family. He had slipped out while everyone slept. So scary.
