I posted this explanation of why I ID as a cisphobe and why thats okay. So Im putting it here cuz I think its a good explanation. Yeah basically for me identifying as a cisphobe is a very important way to express my legitimate fear of the violence they heap on me every day. Cis people who attempt to equate cisphobia and transphobia are ignoring the fact that trans people in actuality have no institutional power to enact their cisphobia in a violent way, where as Cispeople literally enact violence they are completely unaware of and a lot that they are aware of because of their societal power.
