I posted this on Provincetown Voice in response to remarks made by Mark Hatch et al there RE: the petition for an elected Charter Review Commission. Mark Hatch & David Lupone, the attached document was sent sent to the Board of Selectmen for a joint discussion on August 11th. If you watch the meeting on PTV at the link below, I dont think youll find anything nefarious. We were trying to be as up front as possible in our discussion. Also, if a Charter Review Commission is created, as it was in 1990, the voters have the ultimate say on any Charter changes at the ballot box. If the Commission oversteps its bounds in the eyes of the voters, the changes to the Charter will, rightfully, not pass. ec4.cc/hdcb5aed
