I posted this on my wall, but I want to post this in here too, because Im seeing an irritating trend. Im seeing people constantly post about their/someone elses ideology and people are allowing that to divide us. Being hostile toward one another is exactly what those who want us disenfranchised want us to do. Ive been seeing that there is confusion over what consciousness means. Some equate consciousness with their particular ideology. Some think you have to constantly bang on the white man and call for a revolution to be conscious. Some think you cant be conscious if you eat meat. Heres what I think. There are levels to consciousness. The base level is understanding that we have a magnificent history, and that we have an avowed enemy, as history has proven through the actions of White people. Black people dont want them as enemies, but guess what? White people wont allow us to live in peace. I think the next level, and to be honest it includes the only other significant factor, is the burning desire to return to what we once had >>> ***AND***
