I pray that none of you feel how I did today, when I go to pic up my child from school and she is nowhere to be found! About 40 minutes looking for her. She turned up with Kaitlyn in her aftercare program. What was she thinking? I am one of those people who think the absolute worst of situations, and my husband thinks the positive. Well my husband was in a meeting so it was all me, heart racing and pounding, feeling like heart attack time, when I asked one of the faculty if they could call Steenrod one more time. I was down there and was told by two people that they did not see her come in there, so I went back to TMS. how do you not see a 5ft 9in 7th grader walk into the front doors of your elementary school? Just AHHHHHHH! I am now going to breathe because she is safe and okay, and I know that is all that matters, but when your body is put in that panic attack mode, it is not so easy to turn it off. Slow, deep breathing, and a beautiful Nursing Banquet tonight should do it.
