I preface this comment with: i do not feel that all, not even most, colored ppl in America are descendants of ppl brought here on ships as enslaved ppls. However, The notion that rejects the idea of ancestry on the continent because they dont know what country in Africa their ancestry derives is a bit confusing to me. Nation and nation-states werent concepts when ppl were supposedly being taken from Africa. If one doesnt know the culture your ppl are from then so be it, no need to stress the point. Just please dont use the excuse of countries. You sound uninformed. Lol
