I present to you Oscar, a magnificent specimen, whose questionable heredity allows him to boast of being part bear, part baboon, but mostly cat. He is a cat/bear/baboon of excellent health, unquestionable virtue and loyalty, the flower and glory of felinity (i.e. he has been vaccinated, neutered and chipped). Oscar joined our family about 2 years ago, when we adopted him from the SPCA as a 1 year old. His previous family had taken him to the SPCA as they moved overseas and could not take him with them. Oh, the judgement that I projected unto them. The good book says “judge not, lest you be judged” and low, verily, it is time for me to be judged, as our family is moving to the US (for few years, we will be back. In Pinelands), and we are unable to take him with us. Thus, we are looking for a good home for him. Among his many great achievements, Oscar can list: • An unrivalled friendliness to 3 children under the age of 5, who have conspired to devise a seemingly endless series of trials designed specifically to test a cat/bear/baboon’s patience. • He once caught what was obviously an already dead bird. • He walked bare-foot across Africa, to raise awareness about something or other. Oscar is a large cat, roughly the size of a roughly 9 month old Tuffin boy (namely Dylan), and would be best suited to a 1 cat family (him being the 1 cat). He is exceptionally friendly towards humans, and asserts himself as the alpha-cat/bear/baboon among non-humans. If you are interested in being owned by this cat, please send me a message, and we can arrange for you to meet him, and him you. But wait, there’s more, if you are interested, we’ll also throw in his food bowl, and an obviously already dead bird.
