I promised myself I wasnt going to comment on the Ray and JaNay - TopicsExpress

I promised myself I wasnt going to comment on the Ray and JaNay Rice issue but...the way my personality is set-up, I should have known not to make a promise to myself I couldnt keep. Let me first start off by saying NO, NO, NO I do not, in any way shape or form condone domestic violence! I never have & I never will! So lets be clear before I make this statement...however, I also dont condone people making blanketed statements or judging ones character due to their decision to work things out with their significant other. Who are we to judge anyones decisions regarding their own life? JaNay Rice is being condemned by outsiders regarding her choice to stand by her husband. This is not uncommon folks. Many of you stood by your man when he cheated on you; or got you pregnant out of wedlock (didnt wait to put that ring on your finger to make you the mother of his child), or spent money on weed, gambling or other women, verbally, mentally, and emotionally abused you....yet, you CHOSE to stand by your man through his display of flaws...And let you tell it, it wasnt because you had low self esteem or didnt love yourself, it was because you wanted to fight for your marriage! Which makes sense! Like I said before, if we are not here to offer solutions, Godly advice, or perhaps a helping hand, we really should stay out of peoples business! Because quite frankly, we have our own set of problems that no one else knows about, that hasnt been exposed I the media or the masses, that could potentially mess up our own careers...thank God you are not on that type of platform. With that being said, I do pray Ray Rice receives help in redirecting his actions towards his wife. And if JaNay Rice does decide to stand by him through his transition she is a stronger woman for it! I just pray they both receive Gods guidance in the process so that He is able to fix whatever is broken in their marriage. Because lets not forget, God will get the Glory in any situation, no matter how it plays out! If you truly are concerned about her well being, prayer will bring more clarity in her life than judging would...
