I rail all the time against the faux outrage of gay people in this country whose greatest worry is their insurance forms, and many times Ive challenged gays and lesbians to go to the Oklahoma City mosque, lay down on a carpet and start making out. Bill Maher lays it out plain, western culture is better than Muslim culture, or any other eastern culture, and he says why in his usual filthy way. Maher is an idiot about many things, but hes on the spot here. Its long past time for us to be proud of whats been accomplished in Civil Rights, and recognize the gap between ourselves and the rest of the world in the hopes of bringing others forward. Ive said this also, the candidate who will win the 2016 election is the one who revives the ideal of Morning in America, who says simply that we are better than other nations. If you havent noticed, thats the component missing in our War on ISIS. Our president wont acknowledge that were better people than beheaders, and the fight seems aimless and pointless because of his moral equivalency with murderers. We have got to start believing in ourselves, and the value of our western culture, because this fight, as we saw in Moore, Oklahoma, is coming to our streets. It is coming to our streets, and if you dont believe in yourself, your nation, your value system and your right to defend yourself, then you will be killed by people who believe more strongly it is their religious right to kill you.
