Watching 12 hears a slave....full attention lost as I watch all the beatings....then I asked my husband, after reading about the pledge beatings in Conway,AR of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity...Why do we continue to allow slavery in our generation among ourselves and then attempt to justify our behavior and the injustices of being made...and most that read this would like to argue with it to justify the cruel behavior they have been a part of during college pleading.... I have never understood it and never will....I think most of us can agree that the struggles of life has made us more than any membership of any organization can ever....founders of these organizations were looking for a way to create unity away from the cruelty and injustices they had to endure...but my how the generations have gotten away from the roots....just my thoughts for some years now....have we really overcome?
