I rarely post anything, but so many wonderful friends are asking if I survived knee replacement. The answer is a resounding Yes, much to my surprise. As you know I dont do anything slowly, so I had a little set back trying to do too much and walk too fast. The walker was throwing off sparks. I have now learned to slow down and realize limitations. I am missing the Highland village WomensClub big community event tonight. Thanks Chris for covering my obligation. There will be no Christmas decorations at my home this year, but this neighborhood is so decorated, no one will notice! I am doing well, have read 2 long books, played a lot of Words With Friends, listened to several lectures from The Great Courses ( well worth the money for those of us who rushed through college without a lot of enrichment ( Basic Studies which some of you will recognize!) and enjoyed phone conversations. I highly recommend this surgery and my surgeon to any of my friends with worn out knees. Totally worth it, I think. I will confirm that after I return to the dance floor and the tennis courts. Thanks to all of you wonderful, supportive friends. I will be back, soon!
