I read a facebook post this morning that weighed heavily on my heart and presented me with an opportunity to possibly make a small change in someones life so I have decided to share it. There is a guy(that I do not know personally) who walks around with a mower offering to mow lawns for $20 to feed his family. He knocked on a friend of mines door and since it was after dark said if she would give him the $20 he would return this morning to mow her lawn. Keeping his word he returned and did the job. This guy is not sitting at a red light holding up a sign begging for money. In hard times he has taken what he has and is doing anything he can to support his family, that is called honor and integrity. So, I have decided the least that I can do is take a few dollars and buy this man and his family a months worth of groceries so he can use his mowing money in other areas of need. I am not posting this to get praises, the praise goes to the person that posted this and had faith in a total stranger to keep his word. The reason I am posting it is to give everyone that I know the opportunity to help bless this family and make their day a little brighter. As I said I will pay for the month of groceries but how awesome would it be to stock them up for two months or three? So if anyone wants to help feel free to let me know. Could be cash, gift card, can goods, an extra pack of deer meat you hunters have in the freezer, anything will help. God Bless!!!
