I read a piece from Deji Kalejaiye in the Tribune newspaper today June 29,2014 where he said the ogun state civil and public servants should not accept the gesture which the Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun extended to them, calling it deceit. First of all, i would like to let him know that what the Governor did is not a gesture, he the Governor didnt do the civil and public servants a favor, the Governor is simply doing what he has been elected to do. I am very surprised that Deji Kalejaiye could be saying this kind of a thing because he was part of the PDP later PPN government in Ogun State that treated the civil and public servants with disdain. I think Deji Kalejaiye should bury his head in shame. Is Deji Kalejaiye asking the ogun civil and public servants to trust their government that didnt remit the pension and gratuity to the tune of over N7.5bn??? And not trust the present government of SIA who has paid over N5.5bn of that amount which falls into arrears??? Is he also saying that civil and public servants should not trust a govt that started promotion of civil servant and teachers which his own boss stopped since 2008/2009 before he left office in 2011??? Even when the forms for 2014 promotion was rolled out 2 weeks ago ??? I asked him why he still wants the civil and public servants to trust his own people that owed N2.4bn as salary arrears and not trust this SIAs govt that is paying salaries promptly and clearing well over N2bn of that salary arrears??? Is Deji Kalejaiye also saying the ogun state public and civil servants should trust is own government which is disguising under Labour party that didnt pay leave bonus from August 2009 - June 2011 totaling N924m??? And not trust the present APC government of SIA that has cleared the backlog of N924m and not owing any leave bonus till date??? What moral justification does he have to talk when his master sacked unjustly over 100 staff of OOU which this govt of this same SIA reinstated??? Is Deji asking the doctors to forget the problems his government created in OOUTH just like that when this same administration of SIA had almost paid all the arrears left by his master and even employed more health workers well over 550 to replace those that walked away from the health institution??? If Deji Kalejaiye is indirectly saying the public and civil servants are not intelligent with what he said in the Tribune newspaper, i will like to apologize on his behalf. Also if he thinks by changing from PDP to PPN and now Labour party would make the good people of Ogun State forget their atrocities then he should wake up and smell the coffee. The ever intelligent people of Ogun State will always reject their bad ways of governance…Let me stop here for now #AMC
