I read an article in a local newspaper about a month ago which stated how DOT had scaled 14 trucks and 11 of them were over weight. It sounded like some parade was going to kick off. I have spoken with commercial vehicle drivers and asked well did they they do inspection as well. If u ask a lot of people and not one ever says yes. When I was home a few weeks ago I saw 5 troopers on the way to church. I thought it was exciting. I believe I mentioned the need for commercial vehicle inspectors not having the necessary tools to do proper inspections. How many private pretenders do u think have ever walked into a courtroom representing companies who were in violation of being overweight or companies who scaled trucks parked on a ("Hill") and the reading was less than it actually was? If u are a company with a facebook page anywhere in America or the world any level in the glove box of every one of your trucks and a disposable camera. If u r a company who makes either one of these products your stock just went through the roof. Why? Because if that scale is not on a flat surface certified with a laser it can be off 200# to 20,000# set your level down on that scale and take that picture. Oh and if you are a company that makes donuts your business may increase as well....I suppose we should get Pres. Carter s opinion whether we should purchase more advanced equipment the tools to do the job with current technology. Or maybe we should ask Abraham Lincoln?There is a better chance of being visited at your place of employment by your current president then being inspected by respesentatives who have the tools of current technology....
