I realize that several people stopped following this page while I posted the breastfeeding photos. And thats OK! I am not offended in the least, and I actually totally understand because I used to feel pretty darn awkward with it before I had a baby...so I get it! I do want to say that I wont be posting anymore from this years Latch On, and any more in the future will also come with a prior warning similar to the one I gave. I still say that I find the images (and those of the other wonderful photographers who volunteered!) to be tasteful, beautiful reflections of one of the greatest mysteries of Gods creation. And I hope that as a result, women who breastfeed can begin to feel as comfortable feeding their babies in public as women who bottlefeed. Please dont use this post as a forum for debating breastfeeding in public...if you would like to do that, I would ask that you please use your own FB page to do so. Only positive comments for these women please...because unless you have breastfed, you really do not know how hard it can be, how many problems can arise, how many women cant do it for many reasons who wish they could, and how much encouragement breastfeeding moms need at times. Thank you so much for your respect and love for these amazing mommies and their beautiful children! And thank you to Cindy Curtis and the Pink Cocoon!
