I realize that whereas many of my facebook friends are theists, others are atheists or agnostics. But Id like to bring up a matter concerning Gods attributes, regardless! And this matter concerns the fact that Christians have often referred to God as both eternal and omnipresent, in His relation to time and space, respectively. Personally, I think both terms miss the mark just a tad. And I think evangelical theologian Bruce Ware, in his brilliant book Gods Greater Glory: The Exalted God of Scripture and the Christian Faith, hits the nail precisely on the head when he argues (pp. 133-139) that Gods relationship to time and space needs to be viewed from two compatible perspectives: (1) His transcendence, and (2) His immanence.
