I realize this is my second post today, but Ive been meaning to share a couple more special things that happened this Christmas. First, Si had a special delivery on Christmas and in the box was this amazing superhero blanket along with a letter and a few pictures. The little girl in the picture next to Si is Brenna. Brenna had a complicated birth leaving her with special needs. She lived to be 9 years old despite a grim outlook from doctors. Every year her family includes her name in their gift exchange, and whoever gets her name has to do something special for someone or donate to a special cause. Well, this year Shaylyn (Brennas cousin) decided to shout love for Silas and send him this awesome blanket AND purchase Go Shout Love tumblers for her extended family in honor of Brenna! How freaking cool is that!?!? Ive included her letter [grab the tissues!] so you can all read what a joy Brenna was to her family. Thank you so much Shaylyn and family for sharing Brenna with us all. What an amazing gift. #shoutloveforbrenna Secondly, I have a very special friend who has a HUGE heart. She will remain anonymous because Im not sure she wants this public (but I dont care ☺️). She and her family made a VERY GENEROUS donation to Go Shout Love. She chose GSL because what they are doing is truly touching and life changing....and of course, to shout love for Si! I dont think she knows how much this meant to our family and how much its going to mean to all the other families that are going to be blessed by their generosity. Thank you friend. We love you. There sure have been some beautiful things that have come out of this crazy journey.
