I really appreciate every single hooper. Everyone has such a unique way of being with their hoop and thats why I love it so much. But people, please respect our feelings. Im going to lay this down- going up to a performer and saying, you were great! But that girl thats circling around the internet right now- now THATS next level. That hurts my feelings. What you have to understand is no hooper is better than the other. We simply have a different way of connecting with our hoop. Im not going to try and strive to be as good as the hooper you mentioned because I have my own goals and I am dedicated to what I want to do, not what YOU think is next level. Im glad I have a healthy mindset about this but that dude still hurt my feelings.. Please realize, thats just something you dont say to a performer that opened up their most treasured talent for you to see and left their heart on the floor. Because you have no idea the amount of time and hard work I put in to be where I am today.
