I really cant stand drunk driving at all. I attempted to do it one time when I was young and very stupid and Im pretty thankful that I wrecked as soon as I pulled out of the drive way. Even though I feel incredibly guilty for totalling someone elses vehicle I feel lucky that my passengers and I didnt have any major injuries and we didnt make it farther down the road where we could have potentially hurt someone else or have hurt ourselves a lot worse. Ever since I have always made sure that me or anyone else Im with has a designated driver, even if that means sitting out on the booze myself to make sure the people around me make it home safely. It pisses me off every time Im behind a vehicle that is swerving from one side of the road to another, in between lanes, riding the middle line, and going from 2mph to 60mph. ESPECIALLY when I have my kid in the car and Im doing everything I can do to stay as far away from this person as possible. It honestly makes me want to run the person off the road myself, get out, and smack some sense into them. Dont be stupid. If you dont value your life enough to make better choices at least value the life of everyone else on the road around you. You never know when you may take the life of someones mother, father, sister, brother, friend, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparent, or CHILD just because of one irresponsible decision. Dont be stupid.
