I really dislike social commitments. And afsh and solemn promises Ill actually make it as opposed to say yeah, sure and then vanish off the face of the Earth (which is NOT personal fyi). Also, meeting people here in Cairo, means that Ill have to go through traffic. Traffic. Let me repeat this one more time for emphasis: TRAFFIC. Ive been avoiding driving in Gods forgotten city by getting friends to come to this side for a big gathering every week, or taking cabs when I absolutely must leave the east end, and working a street away from where I live. I mean I paid my dues, people! For years, Id been traveling to the other end of Cairo for work, or to maintain friendships, to run errands, etc. losing half my sanity in the process. Thats enough credit, in my books. cue: tears.

This has came to fruition now and it only took 50 years, around 75
