I really do not understand the concept of sacrifice of animals in the name of God or religion. Would a MOST KIND and MOST MERCIFUL God ever ask for the sacrifices of animals ?? Whatever people have to say I am not willing to accept that under any circumstances. Nothing whatsoever is going to convince me. To me if God ever asked for sacrifice it was a sacrifice of desires, lust, greed, materialistic life etc. To give up all this is the true sacrifice.
