I really dont know where to begin with this post. I apologize in advance for its length. First of all, I want to thank all of you who have been praying for and supporting my family. It seems like this storm just wont end. However, we are still standing firm on the promises that God has made. Promises to deliver us from pain and anguish...from all the loss. While I realize that there are so many people out there with so many problems, and we continue to pray for everyone that asks and needs, weve come to a point where we have to take it on faith that Gods plan is perfect. It seems that His plan is for us to move to the Atlanta area. Lena Wolfe has to have weekly check-ups at Emory University Medical Center to make sure the cancer doesnt come back. Were praying that they turn into monthly trips very soon. Either way, it will have to be for at least a year with zero HCG levels. These trips have already cost us more than $500.00. We have family in Atlanta and not too far into Tennessee and North Carolina. Lena has been blessed with a job there, and I know that God will provide one for me soon as well. Everything in our lives seems to be pointing to a relocation. I have lived in Douglas for about 19 years now, and I have come to think of it as home. This move is a HUGE life-changing event that I trust God will work out for us. I will miss so many people, and I have been blessed to serve as a police officer here since 2002. The good news is that we wont be leaving Douglas behind. We intend to make a monthly trip once we get on our feet in Atlanta. Two of our daughters will still live here, Caitlin Wolfe and Samantha Jade Smith. Not to mention that we will be visiting Mias memorial as often as we can. And we will STILL host the foundations candlelight vigil at Emma Wade Park every year. Though we arent exactly sure when the move will take place, it will be very soon. To help us with everything going on, Desirae Jackson has started this gofundme page. It seems like so many other people need more than we do, and its a VERY humbling thing to ask for help when you need it, especially for a proud man whos main goals in life are to honor God and provide for his family. But thats the point we find ourselves, through no fault of our own. I dont know how to adequately thank Desirae and all of you who have brought food, prayed, messaged us comforting words and encouragement, etc. The most I can do is remember you in my prayers for blessings to you all and try to pay your blessings forward or return them one day.
